About this category
This award recognises a chief technology officer, chief information officer or head of engineering whose technical leadership has moved their organisation forward. Judges look for the strategy, what was delivered, the team built and the effect on the business.
Eligibility
Open to CTOs, CIOs, heads of engineering and equivalent senior technology leaders in UK organisations.

Additional criteria
Entries should include a concise case study, supporting figures such as users, uptime, performance, revenue or time saved, and, where possible, feedback from customers or users. Commercially sensitive figures can be given as ranges or percentages, and nothing in an entry is shared beyond the judging panel. Never include credentials, security vulnerabilities that are not yet fixed, or personal data about users. Judges consider the size and stage of the business, so a start up competes on equal terms with an established technology company.
